The Communications Senior Executive supports Raffles Medical Group’s communications and profile through media relations, content development, branding, and coordination of internal and external communications initiatives. The role works closely with stakeholders to ensure all communications are accurate, consistent, and aligned with the Group’s brand guidelines. The position also supports sustainability and ESG communications by collaborating with stakeholders to develop reporting and public-facing content. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Draft and coordinate press releases, media statements, pitches, Q&As, and briefing materials. 

  • Handle media queries and support interviews, briefings, and events. 

  • Identify and pitch stories to media partners. 

  • Monitor media coverage and flag reputational risks and opportunities. 

  • Ensure all media communications are aligned with brand messaging and visual standards. 

  • Develop communications plans and campaigns for the Group’s initiatives. 

  • Coordinate and work closely with stakeholders to achieve project objectives 

  • Plan, write, and adapt content for owned channels and social media, ensuring accuracy, engagement, and alignment with brand guidelines. 

  • Coordinate with designers to develop and review visual assets supporting communications, campaigns, and branding. 

  • Monitor social media feedback and interactions, responding or escalating as needed, and ensure content complements media relations and broader communications objectives. 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop reporting and public-facing content related to sustainability and ESG initiatives. 

  • Ensure sustainability communications are aligned with brand and messaging standards. 

  • Track media coverage and key narratives. 

  • Monitor social media performance and prepare reports. 


Requirements

  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in public relations, corporate communications or media relations

  • Strong writing and editing skills; excellent command of language

  • Experience in media relations, content development, and social media

  • Familiarity with brand guidelines and ensuring content consistency

  • Understanding of media monitoring and analytics, and conduct analysis

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Proactive self-starter and team player with good stakeholder management skills
